DWF Is Going Oyster Diving on November 14th, 2026!
We’re going oyster diving.
If you love scuba diving and you love fresh oysters, this one’s still a no-brainer. November just adds a little edge. Colder water, fewer people, and the same excellent payoff if you come prepared.
Join me on the morning of November 14th off Kent Island, Maryland for a classic Chesapeake Bay oyster harvest dive with a colder, quieter vibe.
Show time: 7:00 am
Boat leaves: 7:30 am sharp
Cost: $150
Includes:
Your seat on the boat and organized dive logistics.
Does not include:
Transportation to and from the dock, scuba equipment, tanks, weights, or crew gratuity.
Tanks and weights are available as add-ons if you need them. Bringing your own is always welcome.
What to Know Before You Go
This is a two-tank dive in brackish water, so weight yourself like you would for salt water.
Depth: 15 to 20 feet
Water temperature: Typically in the 50s to low 60s in November, depending on conditions.
At a minimum, plan on a 7mm wetsuit. Hood and gloves are strongly recommended. Drysuits are welcome.
You must bring a goodie bag and a lift bag. A bag of oysters weighs about the same as a bag of rocks, and your BCD is not designed to be a cargo hauler.
Bring a cooler so you can transport your oysters home. November oysters are worth the effort.
If you have questions about the dive or logistics, contact DWF before booking.
Let’s do some diving.
