Why Take This Course?
Emergencies do not wait for professionals to arrive.
When something goes wrong, the first few minutes matter. In many situations, the person who makes the biggest difference is not a paramedic or a doctor. It is the person already on scene who knows what to do and actually steps in.
The DAN Basic Life Support: CPR & First Aid course is designed to give you the knowledge and hands-on skills to respond effectively until advanced medical care takes over.
This is not about memorizing slides. It is about building confidence and competence so you can act when it counts.
How This Course Works
This course has two parts, and both matter.
Part 1: DAN eLearning Academics
The academic portion of the course is completed online through DAN eLearning. This allows you to learn the concepts, terminology, and decision-making process at your own pace.
You will cover topics such as recognizing medical emergencies, understanding CPR principles, and knowing when and how to intervene.
Part 2: Instructor-Led Skills Development
This is where things become real.
The hands-on skills portion is taught in person by Dive With Frank. This is the part where you actually practice the techniques that can save a life.
You will work through scenarios, practice on training manikins, and receive direct coaching and feedback. The focus is on correct technique, calm decision-making, and building muscle memory.
This portion is taught privately or in small groups so there is plenty of time to practice and ask questions.
