Is Scuba Review right for you?
Haven’t been scuba diving in a while? Feeling a little rusty? Or maybe you’re staring at a pile of gear thinking, “I used to know how this all fit together…”
That’s exactly what Scuba Review is for.
This is relaxed, instructor-led pool time designed to help certified divers shake off the rust, rebuild confidence, and get comfortable underwater again. No pressure. No judgment. Just solid skills, calm coaching, and plenty of time to remember that yes, you absolutely know how to do this.
Scuba Review is ideal for:
- Certified divers who haven’t been diving recently
- Divers preparing for a trip or vacation
- Divers getting ready for a continuing education course
- Junior divers upgrading or refreshing skills
- Referred students or PADI Scuba Divers continuing toward Open Water
If you’d like to keep the momentum going afterward, ask about doing a Discover Local Diving experience — also known as rent a dive buddy — at a local site.
What will we do during Scuba Review?
We start from the beginning.
Seriously.
We’ll take our time assembling your gear, reviewing how everything works, and walking through a proper pre-dive safety check. Watching that initial “wait…oh yeah” moment turn into relaxed confidence is one of the best parts of this session.
Once in the water, we’ll review essential scuba skills at a comfortable pace, with a strong focus on buoyancy, control, and problem management. The goal is simple: you leave the pool feeling calm, capable, and ready to dive again.
What gear will you use?
You’ll use standard scuba gear, including:
- Mask, snorkel, and fins
- Regulator and BCD
- Dive computer
- Scuba tank
Exposure protection will depend on the pool or confined water site we’re using. Dive With Frank will help make sure you’re set up comfortably and correctly.
How long will it take?
Most Scuba Reviews are completed in a single afternoon or evening session.
Ready to get back underwater?
This experience is taught privately or in very small groups at a location and schedule that works for you. It’s relaxed, supportive, and designed to remind you why you fell in love with diving in the first place.
