Booking a trip with DiveWithFrank means joining an adventure built on shared responsibility. These policies ensure safety, respect, and smooth logistics — so every diver knows what to expect before getting in the water.
Minimum Group Size / Trip Viability
Some trips require a minimum number of participants. If that number isn’t met, you’ll receive a full refund or credit toward another DWF trip.
Health & Fitness to Dive
All divers must be medically fit, certified, and current in their diving skills. Refunds are not available if you cannot dive due to lack of certification, medical clearance, or readiness to dive.
Documentation & Deadlines
It’s your responsibility to ensure all travel documents, certifications, passports, visas, and required insurance are valid before departure. No refunds are available for failure to meet these requirements.
No-Show / Late Arrival
Refunds are not available for no-shows, late arrivals, or missed departures caused by travel delays or personal circumstances outside DiveWithFrank’s control.
Operator & Itinerary Changes
DiveWithFrank reserves the right to adjust itineraries, operators, or accommodations due to weather, safety, or operational concerns. We’ll always strive to provide an equivalent or better experience.
Force Majeure / Acts of God
DiveWithFrank is not responsible for cancellations or interruptions caused by natural disasters, political unrest, pandemics, or other events beyond our control. Travel insurance is strongly recommended.
Unused Services
No refunds will be provided for unused services or dives once a trip has begun.
Conduct & Safety
All participants are expected to follow safe diving practices, respect fellow divers and staff, and refrain from unsafe, disruptive, or intoxicated behavior. DiveWithFrank reserves the right to remove any participant whose behavior compromises safety or enjoyment. No refunds will be given in such cases.
Environmental Responsibility
DiveWithFrank is committed to ocean conservation. Participants agree to follow environmentally responsible dive practices — no touching marine life, no collecting souvenirs, and leaving only bubbles behind.
Photo & Media Use
Photos and videos captured during DiveWithFrank trips may be used for promotional purposes, including marketing materials, website content, and social media posts. Participants who prefer not to appear in promotional materials should notify DiveWithFrank prior to the start of the trip.
Insurance & Liability
Participants are strongly encouraged to carry both dive accident coverage (such as DAN) and travel insurance to protect against medical emergencies, trip disruptions, and lost equipment. Participation in any DiveWithFrank activity implies acceptance of personal risk inherent to scuba diving and travel.
Final Word
We’re all in this together — to dive safely, respectfully, and with a shared love for the ocean. Following these policies helps every DiveWithFrank trip run smoothly, so we can all focus on what matters most: the dive.
