DWF October 2025 Oyster Dive
DWF is going Oyster Diving on October 11th, 2025!
Do you love diving? Do you love fresh oysters? Well put those two things together and you have the recipe for a great time!
DWF is running a couple of Oyster dives this November!
Join me on the morning of October 11th off Kent Island, MD for a good time while you gather up to the limit of up to a bushel (~150 oysters).
Show time is 7:00am, the boat leaves at 7:30.
Cost: $150
Includes: Your seat on the boat
Does not include: Transportation to/from the boat, tanks, weights, equipment, gratuity for the crew.
You can rent tanks and weights if you need to.
Some notes:
This will be a 2 tank dive. The water is brackish, so weight yourself for salt water.
The depth is 15-20 feet. Water temps that time of year are in the mid-50s so at the very least bring a 7mm wetsuit, hood, and gloves.
Make sure you own a goodie bag and a lift bag. A bag of oysters is indistinguishable from a bag of rocks weight-wise, so no using your BCD for lift!
Bring a cooler so you can transport the Oysters home.
