Advanced & Independent Training

Some divers reach a point where they want more ownership of the dive.

Not more certifications for a wall.
Not more depth for bragging rights.

More responsibility.
More planning.
More control over equipment, gas management, and decision-making.

These programs are typically scheduled privately and by request. They assume experience, preparation, and a willingness to do the work.

Scope & Standards

Some elements of Sidemount and Self-Reliant training introduce principles often associated with technical diving, such as redundancy and advanced gas management.

These programs remain within recreational standards.

They are not substitutes for formal technical training, and they are not preparation for overhead or decompression environments.

If your long-term goals include technical diving, that progression should be pursued with instructors who specialize in that discipline.
