Quick way to get GPS coordinates from Google Maps

Open Google Maps and find the dive site, meeting spot, dock, quarry entrance, or pool.
Drop a pin exactly where EMS should go, not just the general business name.
On desktop, right-click the pin and click the decimal coordinates. On mobile, long-press the map and copy the coordinates shown in the place card.
Paste the coordinates into the GPS field above. Decimal format is best, like 38.9876, -76.1234.
If you want a map reference, paste a normal Google Maps link or describe the pin in the Map / location reference field. This tool does not embed, capture, or print third-party map imagery.

8. Do Not Delay

These reminders are always included in the printed EAP because they matter when everyone is stressed.

Do not delay calling local EMS or the local emergency number.
Do not delay getting the diver to medical evaluation.
Do not delay oxygen first aid, CPR, first aid, or AED use when indicated and available.
Do not delay evacuation while searching for a chamber.
Do not try to self-dispatch directly to a chamber unless directed by medical professionals.
Do not delay calling DAN once EMS has been activated and immediate care is underway.

The EAP Builder is provided “as-is” for informational and planning purposes only.
You are solely responsible for verifying the accuracy, completeness, and current status of every phone number, address, GPS coordinate, facility, access instruction, equipment location, role assignment, and procedure in your final plan.
Real-world conditions, gate access, staffing, phone numbers, medical facility availability, chamber availability, weather, boat procedures, site rules, and emergency-response resources can change.
You should review the final plan before every class, trip, dive day, or event.

Medical and emergency limitations

This tool does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, treatment recommendations, or emergency-response instructions specific to a patient.
In an emergency, activate local EMS or the local emergency number first.
Provide oxygen first aid, CPR, first aid, AED use, and other care only within your training, equipment, and local procedures.
Do not delay EMS activation, evacuation, transport, medical evaluation, or immediate care while searching for a chamber or trying to self-route a diver to recompression.
Recompression treatment is a medically prescribed procedure. Let EMS, physicians, DAN, and qualified medical professionals coordinate chamber referral if needed.

No guarantee of outcome

Having an EAP can support better preparation, but it does not prevent accidents, remove risk, guarantee rescue success, guarantee medical access, or guarantee a positive outcome.
