Welcome to Outbreak Under Pressure, a brand-new, free underwater zombie adventure inside DWF Evil Instructor Mode.

A Dive That Remembers Your Mistakes

This isn’t a zombie-themed quiz where you simply answer a question and move on. You’re part of a dive team sent to investigate an abandoned underwater research station. There’s a sample to recover, a buddy to watch, gas to manage, and something decidedly unfriendly moving outside.

Your choices change what happens next. Rush your buddy check? That shortcut may haunt you several scenes later. Kick up silt? You’ve just made a bad situation worse. Stay calm, communicate, and protect your safety margins? You may have a fighting chance.

The adventure includes 13 original story scenes, branching decisions, delayed consequences, and multiple endings. You won’t see every scene in one playthrough. The path changes based on the decisions you make.

And, naturally, the Evil Instructor will be there with plenty of questionable advice.

Here’s the twist: calling the dive can be the smartest way to win. Recovering the fictional sample is never more important than bringing your team back safely.

There’s a reason I’m releasing this just before Halloween.

On Saturday, October 31, 2026, I’ll be teaching the PADI Zombie Apocalypse Diver Distinctive Specialty at Lake Phoenix, Virginia.

Yes, it’s a real PADI specialty. And yes, there will be zombies.

The course uses two open-water training dives and fictional outbreak missions to practice real skills: buoyancy, navigation, search and recovery, buddy communication, situational awareness, and problem-solving when the dive doesn’t follow the script.

The zombies are fictional. The diving skills are real.
